Taichi is taciturn and comes from a taciturn family. His family never really express their love for one another in words, but they somehow all still feel each other's affection and are content in that. When he tries to date though, he finds it so confusing that people seem to find him cold or rude, and are endlessly demanding some affirmation or other, before eventually leaving him. Why can't we just enjoy each other's company in silence?
